Excellent narrative. I like the way you describe the retrenchment exercise - how it could be a blessing or a curse for different people, even during this trying time.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. I wrote this after I realized exactly what you said --that while many of us view it as curse, it serves as a blessing (sometimes in disguise, which I have yet to write about) to others.
